Too many turnovers hurt Bruins in loss at Devils Lake

Fargo South played hard the whole game, but 37 turnovers proved to be too much to keep South in the game on Saturday in Devils Lake. South had 6 turnovers before they scored a point and fell behind 8-0. They battled hard though and a three by Laura Green cut the lead to 15-13 with 12 minutes to go, but then the turnover bug hit again and South turned it over on 6 of their next 7 possessions, allowing the Firebirds to build a 28-13 lead. South kept scrapping though and an Adie Wagner full court coast to coast drive right at the halftime buzzer cut the lead to 43-30 at halftime. In the second half it was more of the same as South turned it over 6 of their first 8 possessions and let the game get pushed out to 20 points.
